With climate change rapidly interfering with our lives through epic storms, earthquakes, tsunamis and the like, we feel it most here in Phoenix via the endless, scorching summer heatwave that begins in late May and slugs along through early October.

Seeking refuge from the ridiculous temperatures, David Bryant aka Passage (Restiform Bodies/Anticon) and Michael Bell aka Ma Bell (Lymbyc Systym/Crystal Castles/Her Space Holiday) have locked themselves away in a pleasantly air conditioned Phoenix bedroom studio to bring you the 110+ °F Summer Jam of 2014….GANGSTER AND THE GURU.

Produced by Ma Bell, the song's finely crafted electroacoustic percussion and synthscapes provide a comfortably peppy bed for Passage's diatribe on "ghetto self-help".

Look for a full length from this duo coming later in 2014….
